Comparison
Helecos vs Competera: do you need the price decided, or the price proved?
Side by side
What each one charges for, and what each one does
| What to compare | Helecos | Competera |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Per checkup — a check of one product on one source. You buy volume, not a seat count. | Quoted per deployment; the site invites a demo and a pricing request rather than listing plans. |
| Different units: their limit counts products, ours counts checks. Which works out cheaper depends on how many products you watch and how often. | ||
| Entry plan | Starter — EUR 25 per month, 3 000 checkups | On request. |
| Prices published | Yes — every tier is listed on the pricing page. | No figure is published for any plan; the site offers "Request pricing". |
| Free start | 3 000 checks free for 30 days, no card required. | A demo and a market test, both arranged through their team; no self-service sign-up. |
| MAP / RRP monitoring | Yes — deviation alerts per SKU and per market. | MAP compliance and reseller monitoring, stated on their solutions page. |
| Screenshot evidence | Yes — each deviation is stored with seller, URL, price and a timestamped screenshot. | Their public pages do not state whether violations are stored with screenshot evidence. |
| Marketplace monitoring | Yes — 50+ marketplaces, aggregators and Google Shopping. | Competitive data with matching and crawling, described as omnichannel. |
| API | Included in every plan, at no extra charge. | Their public pages do not describe an API for pulling the data out. |
| Automatic repricing | No — Helecos does not change your prices. It reports and evidences; the pricing decision stays yours. | The core of the product: AI-driven price optimisation and an automated pricing workflow. |
| If you want the tool itself to move your prices, they cover that and we do not. | ||
| Geography | Ukraine and the EU, plus international sources. | States coverage across 34 markets, without naming a country list. |
| Interface languages | EN, RU, UK, ES. | Their public pages do not state which interface languages are offered. |
Competera figures were read from their own pages on 2026-09-03. Prices change — check Competera’s current pricing before deciding. Competera

The difference that decides it
One tool sets your price, the other proves someone broke theirs
Competera is built to answer "what should this price be?" — demand elasticity, market positioning, an automated pricing workflow. That is a real job, and where it is your job, they do it and we do not.
Helecos answers a different question: "who sold below the agreed price, where, when, and can you prove it?" Every checkup is one product on one source at one moment, stored with the seller, the URL, the price, the currency and a timestamped screenshot. That is what turns a complaint into a conversation a dealer cannot wave away — and it is a history, not a notification you scrolled past.
MAP is not what separates us: their solutions page states MAP compliance and reseller monitoring, the table says yes on both sides, and claiming it as ours would be a comparison you could disprove in one click. What their pages do not describe is screenshot evidence — we say that carefully, because silence on a page is not absence in a product, so ask them if a timestamped screenshot per violation is what you are buying for.
The second difference is how you find out anything at all. Their pricing starts with a demo request; ours starts with a page you can read at midnight and 3 000 free checks that ask for no card.
Honestly
Where each one is stronger
Where Helecos is stronger
- Pricing is published, all of it Every tier and its checkup volume is on the pricing page. You can size the plan at midnight without booking anything.
- You can start without talking to anyone 3 000 checks free for 30 days, no card and no call. Their route in is a demo or a market test arranged with their team.
- Evidence attached to every deviation Seller, URL, price, currency and a timestamped screenshot, kept as history — the thing a distributor conversation actually needs.
- Paid by checkups, not by deployment You buy the work actually done — product, source, once — and can change the volume next month without renegotiating anything.
Where Competera is stronger
- They reprice; we do not AI-driven price optimisation and an automated pricing workflow are the core of their product: it moves prices, and Helecos does not. If you want the tool to decide the price, that is theirs and not ours.
- Demand modelling we do not attempt Elasticity and market-positioning models are a different discipline from monitoring, and we do not claim it.
- Built for enterprise scale Their published cases run to six-figure item counts across 150+ competitors, with the team and onboarding that implies.
- A guided implementation A demo-first motion means someone walks you through the fit. Self-service is faster; it is not the same as being advised.

Questions people actually ask
-
Is Helecos a Competera alternative?
For competitor price and MAP/RRP monitoring with evidence, yes. For deciding your prices from demand models, no — that is what Competera does and Helecos deliberately does not. -
How much does Competera cost?
We cannot tell you, and neither can their site: it publishes no figure for any plan and asks you to request pricing. Ours is on the page, from EUR 25 a month for 3 000 checkups. -
Does Competera do MAP monitoring?
Yes — their solutions page states MAP compliance and reseller monitoring, and our table says yes on both sides. What their pages do not describe is screenshot evidence stored with each violation, which is the part worth asking them about. -
Does Helecos change my prices?
No. It reports deviations and stores the evidence. Moving a price is a commercial decision and stays with you. -
Can I try it without a card?
Yes. Sign-up gives 3 000 checks valid for 30 days and asks for no card.
